"Thank you so much for your kind hospitality over the past two weeks.  We have thoroughly enjoyed our time here.  Liz, once again, your cooking was a huge highlight during our first week, Dom your knowledge of the mountains was invaluable to us. Thanks again for having us in your beautiful home.  We hope to be back again soon."

Jerry, MPCC, July 2015

"Fanatastic hosts with a great place and superb food, they could not be more welcoming.  In 20 years of arranging cycling trips to the TdF this is the best place yet."

Team Radon Magura Factory, Switzerland, April 2015

"This place is 'Amazing'!  We have spent 12 days with Dom & Liz and can't say how much we have enjoyed it!  Making new friends here at 'Pyrenees Pursuits' is what life is all about. 1000 Thx and hot to see you again in the near future."

Swindon Road Club, June/July 2014 (second visit)

"What a fanatastic gem in the mountains!  We have had the most amazing week staying with Dom, Liz and Sophia.  We couldn't have asked for anything else.  The food was first class, with vegetarians catered for so well, along with the 'meat eaters'.  Fabulous cycling, wonderful scenery and great company."

Matt Dolan, Oxford UK, June & July 2014

"Two trips and both of them absolutely fantastic and unforgettable!  You have an amazing place here, in a perfect location.  Everything was perfect for both my trips and it was great preparation for l'Etape du Tour 2014.  Thank you for all the help and advice, the shopping and the great food.   It was a pleasure to meet you all and I look forward to another trip soon to tick off the last remaining Col!"

Marco & Gert, 2 Cycling friends from Holland

"This is a very sad day....we have to leave this paradise on the hill. We found this place by coincidence and did not book but were welcomed with open arms as we drove up Col de Bidalet.  We really enjoyed the hospitality, the food and the view.  We hope we stay at the top of the league with eleven Cols in 4 days."

Travis Stapleton, part of The Cycling Life Tour, Australia, 5-12  October 2013

"Thank you so much for an amazing stay.  Great food, beautiful location, knowledgeable about the area, always accommodating.  Did I say great food.  Thank you again, realy felt like a home away from home.  Can't wait to return."

Anne Marie & Julian Foot, Strathpeffer Scotland, 8-15  June 2013

"We last stayed with Liz and Dominic two years ago.  We had the best of memories and hoped it would be just as good... well it was even better.  Thank you for sharing your wonderful home along with Sofia and, of course, Vanilla.  We had a great week, amazing cycling in the wonderful area.  We will return."

Jon Austen (the David Butler 2012 Cycling Tour), UK, September 2012

"Beautiful situation with amazing views but out done by the generosity and kindness of Dom and Liz,  not to mention Sofia.  A very special place, just need to come back with my wife for a more relaxing stay.  Thanks for everything."

"Stunning location, lovely accommodation, great food.  Thanks for making our stay so special especially after a long day in the saddle.  11 Cols completed, 411 miles, 44,250 feet of climbing - nice!"

Christine and Vincent, Melbourne, October 2009

"We definitely lucked out at Pyrenees Pursuits.  It has been a superb week - location, views, accommodation and especially ambiance extended by Liz, Dominic and Sophia. We really enjoyed our daily planning sessions and advise from Liz & Dominic over breakfast in the sunshine and tea and muffins on our return. Liz's dinner was a wonderful treat after slogging up Tourmalet..."

Robin, Vicci, Tim and Lucy, July 2009

"Thank you Liz, Dom and Sophia for your hospitality.  We really appreciated the balance between our freedom to enjoy the house and garden and your attention to our need.  Great company. Great scenery.  Great cycling.  Lovely hosts. Warm pool and even a thunderstorm to send us off!"

Amanda & Bruce Wilson, ALex and Chris - New Zealand, October 2008

"Staying here has been a great finale to our 3 weeks in France.  The accommodation is superb & Liz, Dominic and Sofia have been wonderful hosts.  From arranging a bike for Bruce to our final evening chatting around the fire, it's all been first class. We shall certainly be recommending Pyrenees Pursuits to cycling and non-cycling friends back in New Zealand. "

                    CONTACT DOM & LIZ

Mark, Joanna and Harry, September 2008

"Arrived dead of night weary from travelling - opened windows in the morning and the views and mountain air soon cheered us up.  Dom Liz and Sofia soon made us feel really really welcome - always there for you, from arranging doctors appointments to collecting bikes and weary mates from a 180k cycle in the twilight hours - Dom : you are a master of arranging the simplest things in times of need - perhaps a masseur at the top of Hautacam would have been better but Liz's cooking that evening was the perfect 'warm down'.  Thanks to you both and I regret to say 'WE'LL BE BACK'"

The McPhees, August 2008

"Came for the Jazz in Marciac and the Tourmalet Cycle Climb.  Discovered: the warmest of welcomes; the best of hosts; a view that no website snap could possibly do justice to (from our living room); peace, tranquility and stars in the night sky that you can no longer see in most of the UK; as well as loads of other gems.  Will come back for all the above plus - the other Cols I didn't cycle; and most of the Rough Guide 'must sees' because we were too busy 'relaxing' and enjoying the sites nearby."

 James Lumpkin, London, Etape 2008

"A perfect place for a weekend's cycling.  Views over the Pyrenees while taking breakfast on the patio.  Fantastic home cooking and local produce served by friendly hosts with great local knowledge. Thank you for a superb weekend"
